Story of Old Jake

Ol' Jake was friendly only man who led a full life filled religion and happiness. When his time was almost, he spent his last days in the hospital. Jake's family called their priest to be with them when Jake's end came. As the priest stood in the room near the bed, Ol' Jake's condition began to get worse rather suddenly. Jake motioned for someone to give him something to write on.

The friendly priest lovingly and compassionately gave Ol' Jake a piece of paper and a pencil. With his last bit of energy, Ol' Jake scribbled something on the paper and then died. The priest didn't feel it was appropriate to read the not at that moment so he stuck it in his coat pocket.

At Jake's funeral, he was giving the eulogy and saying a few words about everyone's friend, Jake. As he was finishing, he suddenly remembered he was wearing the same coat he had on the day that Jake died.

All excited, the priest said, "You know, just before Ol' Jake died, he wrote me a note. I haven't looked at it yet but knowing Jake as we all did, it's bound to be something inspirational and interesting to all of us.

He unfolded the pieced of paper and read what it said out loud, "Hey, you're stepping on my oxygen tube!"
